FBX Privacy Policy

1. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED:
When you register to subscribe to our FBX Internet Access service, FBX requests personally identifiable information such as your name, e-mail address, physical address, telephone number, credit card number, and in some instances, your social security number to register your account ("Registration information").
FBX may also automatically check the version of FBX Internet Access software and components you are using (including your browser version) every time you sign into FBX Internet Access service in order to optimize performance. FBX may also provide upgrades to such software that will be automatically downloaded to your
computer.
2. HOW FBX USES YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Your personally identifiable information may be gathered, processed or used in the following ways:
-To service accounts, process, bill and collect payments pursuant to the FBX Internet Access Subscriber Agreement, and otherwise operate and deliver the FBX Internet Access service you have requested.
-To support customer questions about subscription, billing, or use of the FBX Internet Access service.
-To enforce any of the terms of the FBX Internet Access Subscriber Agreement.
-To alert you of new products, product upgrades, special offers and other information related to FBX and the FBX Internet Access service.
-To fulfill FBX Internet Access CD and other fulfillment request orders.
3. WHO ELSE MAY RECEIVE MY FBX INTERNET ACCESS REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
By becoming a subscriber, you agree that FBX may share your personally identifiable information with third parties for their use in providing services to FBX in the course of operating and delivering the FBX Internet Access service, such as to process or collect payments, or provide customer support to FBX Internet Access accounts. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to FBX, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
By becoming a subscriber, you also agree that FBX may present you with carefully selected third parties offers, unless you choose not to receive such offers by specifically changing your marketing Communication Preferences.
In the event that you receive a special rate for Internet access because of membership or affiliation with a particular organization, you agree that FBX may provide your personally identifiable information to said organization.
Information may also be disclosed to any successor to
business of FBX.
4. HOW DO I ACCESS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Your information will be processed and stored by FBX in the United States, and, if you do not live in the United States, possibly in your country of residence. You may check and correct your information in your FBX Internet Access account in the "My Account" area of FBX Internet Access on the FBX web site. You may also contact FBX Internet Access Customer Service to determine whether such information has been accurately recorded, and, if not, to request correction of any inaccuracies.
If your account was offered in conjunction with another company through a co-promotion, you will be notified upon registration about how to contact the other party in order to check and correct your information if necessary. In some cases, both FBX and the other company with whom you signed up for FBX Internet Access, will both receive your registration information.
5. HOW DO I CONTROL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Personal information may be controlled via the "My Account" section of the FBX Members site. In the case where you opt-in to an offer from a third-party company at the time of sign-up or at any time post-sign-up, and you choose to stop receiving messages or offers from the third-party-company, you will need to contact the companies directly.
